A workshop to culminate the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth of Bengal.
Promote Self Employment or Business as more beneficial and viable alternative career in compared to service.
Apart from money earned, every person seek accomplishment in terms respect from the peers for the contribution he/she makes to the society. Though business is the driver of the economy, businessmen do not command that kind of respect in compared to other professions particularly Government Service.
Societal acknowledgement for the Entrepreneur is somewhat missing. And even more so for the small business and their owners.
Everyone is talking about MSME and many schemes of government and other agencies including Banks are there but what is missing is the acknowledgement back home. At home in his/her neighbourhood the entrepreneur is not acknowledged for the great contribution he/she is making for the eco system he/she belongs to. The risk he/she takes, the sacrifices he/she and their families make is enormous but the acceptance of this fact and acknowledgement of the same is somewhat missing. A half day event is planned in form of workshop cum conference to showcase the successful entrepreneurial stories which shall be the motivation for the youth who shall be invited from High schools and leading professional institutions of South 24 Parganas and Kolkata.
Bestow awards on Best Entrepreneurs from all the Blocks of South 24 parganas for various Categories viz: GENERAL, WOMEN, START UP or FIRST GENERATION.
The Best Entrepreneurs from all over South 24 parganas for various trade segments viz : Tourism, Agriculture, Health, Education, IT and IT enabled services, etc. and for various functional parameters such as energy efficient, Consumer friendly, Highest Tax Payer, Credible borrower, Environment friendly, highest exporter, highest women employee etc.
